I am looking forward to the arrival of world-acclaimed portrait sculptor Philippe Faraut who will be offering a 3-day intensive workshop on sculpting the portrait from life this weekend. This workshop will emphasize facial planes, structure, the ageing process, moods and expression and ethnicity.

Below is an example of what is coming up for the 18 sculptors I will be joining.

I’ll be drawing again

admin November 3rd, 2009

I’ll be drawing again with Rich Brimer and the rest of the gang from the Thousand Oaks Figure Art Guild. It has been a fantastic group and I am glad to be back to the drawing board.

I finally did it…

admin November 10th, 2008

It has been a long time coming, but I finally have my own website that I can manage. I have always needed help creating and uploading the html pages. I am no web designer, so I decided to use WordPress and have a blog based website. Now, when I am not in the studio, or teaching a class or visiting one of my kids, I can be writing and updating my very own website. Keep in touch by posting comments at the bottom of each post or page. I hope I enjoy this as much as my other friends with blogs says they do. ~Namaste Janet
